The Rythm of Life
Each one of us is to learn on our own personal rhythm. What do I mean by this? It is important to find that walking pace and cadence with which we face life.
When we go for a jog in the park, there is a moment when we realize we are surrounded by more people that are there for the exact same reason we are. However, each one will follow their own rhythm. That beat that is determined by our breath, our goal, our hearts and so many other things. We are in no hurry to catch up to the person in front of you, neither we worry about who’s behind. It’s simple. All we really notice is that we are there: happy, free, light and at peace. We enjoy each and every step and we fill ourselves with that moment. Our minds and bodies are in that exact place. This is the feeling we should have on the hustle of the everyday. Sometimes we don’t quite understand the quote: “You are not competing with anybody” and we find it hard to learn how to relax, to lose the desire to possess things that are not ours and we can’t stop comparing ourselves to others. That bewilderment and lack of connection from our inner selves is leading us further and further away from our essence and it´s making us lose sight of our real value. We lose our rhythm. When we ignore it, we hurry and race against absolutely anything. We take other people’s ideas as our own and fail to appreciate our self-worth. It´s easy to get lost on the collective thinking that leads us to believe that our value depends on this or that. We can easily get caught in this limiting thinking that breaks our balance and confuses our minds, but we gotta find our own way! We just gotta be our own person with our own thinking our own ideas , make our own molds in this life not follow someone elses. We were given this life for it to be our won not to be like every one elses , how mundane is that an what kinda foot print of our own would be able to leave if it was the same as all the rest, I've always been a free thinker , a self doer , and one to make my own choices
and not to follow the crowd, I've lost friends, I've made people mad, I've felt alone, frustrated with the world but still I choose to just me :)
We are constantly distracted by the hustle of the outside that we rarely stop and search within ourselves. Oblivious that all we need to be happy is within us, we search on the outside to the point we end up crashing against the world’s ongoing and unstoppable current. We end up feeling devastated, defeated and sometimes even completely destroyed by this outside factors we can’t seem to understand.
Our peace, harmony and clarity are constantly under attack by everyone and everything around us. It is not easy; Believe me, I know. It’s not easy to come out unbeaten, to shake off the fear, the feeling of defeat or the mean words flying in the air anywhere we go, like sharp arrows on a battle field cruising through the wind with the intention of hurting; Even when those arrows are shot by those we love the most, we need to learn to raise our shields and protect our heart and mind. Clear your mind, take a breath and focus on what’s truly important in your heart. That thing that makes you tick, that makes you forget about time, money even about friends and family.
If you do this, you can start building the world that you want for yourself. This can only be achieve from the inside out because your inner world defines your outer world.
Your existence doesn’t need to be understood by any outsider, it’s already hard enough to understand and find meaning to our own existence so how could you possible expect someone else to do that for you and have an opinion about it. Sometimes it’s hard to turn your back on someone that doesn’t understand who you are and what you want to be, but trust me, it is ok to do so. Having a honest, authentic, loving and sincere encounter with yourself is worth everything because being self aware is the most valuable thing a human can posses; You are not saying no to the people you love and outsiders but rather you are saying yes to your true self that’s being hidden inside you and screaming trying to get out.If you can understand this you can then focus on being the best version of yourself, because being yourself is the only place in life where you have no competition.
