Relations ships and commitment to me is not what everyone thinks it is. It's not waking up early every morning to make breakfast and eat together. It's not cuddling in bed together until both of you peacefully fall asleep. It's not a perfectly clean house and a homemade meal every day. It's not all about sex and the physical part of it....But so much more ...
It's someone who steals all the covers from you and you take them back and cover you both up on cold nights. It's sometimes slammed doors, and a few harsh words, disagreeing, and the silent treatment until your heart heals some Then...forgiveness! And it's usually over sumthin silly because they two of you are tired from the stress of life work and sometimes kids...But real life is this.....
It's coming home to the same person everyday that you know loves and cares about you, in spite of and because of who you are. It's laughing about the one time you accidentally did something stupid. It's about dirty laundry in the hampers on days your too tired to think about it, and unmade beds because you overslept without finger pointing. It's about helping each other with the hard work of life! It's about swallowing the nagging words instead of saying them out loud. It's about accepting that person as they truly are and never trying to change anything about them but instead you learn to love their faults because the are a part of them same as are yours..
It's about eating the cheapest and easiest meal you can make and sitting down together at 10 p.m. to eat because you both had a crazy day. It's when you have an emotional breakdown, and your love lays with you and holds you and tells you everything is going to be okay, and you believe them. It's when "Netflix and chill" literally means you watch Netflix and hang out. It's about still loving someone even though sometimes they make you absolutely insane.It's about looking at that person and knowing you love them unconditionally thru the good the bad and all the in betweens, and knowing your lofe would and could never be the same with out them ....
Living with the person you love is not perfect, and sometimes it's hard, but it's amazing and comforting and one of the best things you'll ever experience.And to get the most out of it and to make it grow it takes work , hard work each and every single day from both not just one person... True love I think only comes once in your life and when you find it hold onto it make it work because if you lose it , you may never ever find it again... Again this is my opinions and I know most will not agree but IDC this is how I see it.
