I dislike the phrase Internet friends !!! because it implies that people you know online aren't really your friends, that somehow the friendship is less real or meaningful to you because it happens through Skype chats or a social game site .The measure of a friendship is not its physicality but its significance. Good friendships, online or off, urge us toward empathy; they give us comfort and also pull us out of the prisons of our selves sometimes and we open up to people .The value of my friendships can be found in what we mean to each other, how we talk, what we give back and forth, not where or how we met ages, social back grounds or the fact that such a large chunk of society feels like we're oddballs for being online friends. I choose my friends on or off line by personality only nothing more and I would hope they choose me for the same. These days, the Internet is our workplace, our bar, our social club, and our library. Its where we spend our time, where we learn things, and how we entertain ourselves. Why shouldnt it be where we make friends, too?I believe that friends are quiet angels who lift us to our feet when our wings have trouble remembering how to fly.
